Listed companies

Company records — name, category, business contact details, location, founding year and registry identifier — are republished from public registers and published exporter lists. The basis is legitimate interest in maintaining a public trade reference. Each dataset, its origin and its retrieval date are itemised on the sources page. These are business contact details, not personal profiles; we do not add data of our own and we do not enrich records from third-party brokers.

A company can have a detail corrected or the whole listing removed at any time through the corrections and removals form. We keep a record of the request and the decision so the change is auditable.

Account holders

We store only what the account needs to work:

  • Sign-in identity and password hash, held by our authentication provider.
  • Profile you enter: name, phone, country, company, industry, import regions.
  • Notification preferences and timezone.
  • Your RFQ drafts, saved products, review decisions and message threads.
  • Rate-limit counters and an audit log of privileged actions.

Basis: performance of the service you asked for. We do not sell account data, run advertising trackers, or share it with third parties beyond our hosting and authentication infrastructure.

Cookies and analytics

The only browser storage we rely on is the session needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

Account data lives until you close the account; a closure request queues your profile, drafts, favorites and review decisions for deletion. Correction and takedown records are kept as an audit trail. Directory records persist as long as they remain in the public source or until a removal request is upheld.

Your rights

You can export everything your account holds as JSON from Settings, correct your profile there, and request deletion there. For anything you cannot do in the interface, use the requests form and quote the reference you receive.
